Why you NEED group fitness classes and how they will CHANGE your life!

When people first join a gym, they're often unsure what they should do once they step inside the big building full of weights, strange machines, and intimidating people all hyper focused on their own workouts. I SO get it! The struggle to determine which exercises to do, where to go, how to use the equipment. It’s all A LOT to deal with and even more to learn. But I have the BEST solution. What if you had your workout planned for you, a trainer to guide you through it, and all you had to do was show up, work out, and be on your way. No hassle. No frustrating waiting for your machine to free up. No awkward gym encounters. Just you and a group of awesome people all working out with a fantastic trainer!

So if you aren’t yet convinced, here are 7 reasons why group fitness classes will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

  1. Motivation! There is nothing more inspiring than being surrounded by dedicated, like minded people and working out together! It doesn't get much better than a class with an encouraging instructor and supportive people all working hard together. Group fitness is a great way to help motivate yourself and others to dig deeper and push harder in workouts. Not to mention it is SO much fun to workout next to your friends! Que the crazy workout faces!

  2. Structure! Like I mentioned above, going to the gym can suck when you don’t know how to plan a workout that is suited to you and your needs. When you get in a class that stress is lifted right off your shoulders! All you have to do is show up and love being guided through a workout that has been made up with a balanced warm-up, workout, and cool-down by your favorite coach!

  3. Coaching! You get a certified coach with their eyes on you to help you maintain great form throughout your workout so that you spend more time crushing your goals, and less time recovering from unnecessary aches and pains!

  4. Variety! Who else gets bored from doing the same workout day in and day out? I can’t do it. There is no way I can feel inspired to push myself harder, run further, or jump higher if its always the same. No way no how. Group fitness means you can try ANYTHING! Bootcamp, HIIT, Pilates, Yoga, Cycle, Props, TRX, Fusion, Mobility, there are more types of classes than there are days in the week! You can learn so many fun and different styles of movement with the help of instructors and support of like-minded people!

  5. Accountability! By signing up for group classes you have some skin in the game. You have a schedule, a time, a day, a coach, and a group of people ready to workout with you. Not to mention all those wonderful people there are there to be there with you to! Bring a friend or meet so many more and love having your acountabila-buddy(s) with you each class!

  6. Friends! When a group of people come together to do awesome things together MAGIC happens. It is so easy to make the best of friends through sharing in the struggle of abdominal work. No joke. Sharing a workout means sharing in the ups, downs, struggles, and bliss together, you may walk in as a stranger, but you will walk away with a group of friends who love to move just like you.

  7. FUN! It is so much fun working out with a group of awesome people to great music alongside a coach! We all get to laugh, struggle, sweat, burn, dance, and GROW together in a safe, upbeat, inspiring space.
